Revitalizing Kings Park

Kings Park is a geat place to live and our community is changing. We need to reach out to all of our residents and reintroduce the idea of community envolvement. That is what Kings Park Civic Association (KPCA) is about - community envolvement. KPCA now has over 500 households as memebers in a community of 1100 homes!

Kings Park Civic Association and Fairfax County with Supervisor Sharon Bulova's support have launched a community revitalization program. The Kings Park revitalization program is aimed at getting all residents involved in the community and keep the neighborhood safe, vital and attractive. This program includes leadership training, community education, minority outreach, zoning compliance efforts, supplemented by the intensive application of existing government programs and guided by an experienced team of citizens and county officials.

We have the revitalization document online and will need tens of volunteers to make it work.

Kings Park Civic Association

Kings Park Civic Association holds monthly membership meetings where residents can bring up ideas, issues and concerns about the neighborhood. KPCA publishes the Gazette new letter six times a year and hosts a web site to provide information and a forum for community news, interests and concerns and have recently added a community wiki and calendar. KPCA has several committees to address residents concerns, interests, help the community and provide communication with the county. KPCA hosts five events every year, sponsors youth community services and maintains common land. Our official documents and Gazettes are online.
